PACTOCure WB is a water based curing compound formulated from selected emulsified paraffin to form a low viscosity non-degradable wax emulsion. PACTOCure WB is producing a non-penetrating continuous film on contact with a cementitious surface. This film prevents excessive water evaporation resulting in more efficient cement hydration, reduced shrinkage and increased durability.
Once formed, the membrane will remain on the concrete surface until eventually broken down and eroded by natural weathering. Where it is required to apply a further treatment to such concrete surface, it may be necessary to remove the membrane remaining after curing by wire brushing or other mechanical means.
TYPICAL USES
- – As a spray applied membrane to retain moisture in concrete for effective curing
- – Suitable for all general concreting applications and particularly suited for large area concrete surfaces, such as bridgeworks, airport runways and roads
- – As a more effective and economical alternative to hessian and water and polythene curing regimes. Suitable for use on all concrete surfaces.
